Are your clients feeling tight and uncomfortable after liposuction?

Hey Kathleen!

I have a client that did TT and lipo.

I moved all the fluid to the axillary - When I massaged her the hard spots were better. But when she got up it felt tight still and this morning she said she felt tight.

Am I doing something wrong

where she still feels tight?

Myofascial Massage After Liposuction

I recommend manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) as the MOST POWERFUL way to reduce a client's swelling in the weeks after liposuction.

Clients ALSO complain of tenderness and a tight, taffy-like feeling in their torso after liposuction. Learn what I do along with my MLD skills to help these clients stand taller and feel more comfortable in their body.

After I used the techniques I show you in this class, my client Courtney emailed me and said:

"Hi Kathleen! I feel so much better. My back is less tight (less leather jacket feeling) and im certainly able to move better. I can’t wait to get another one. Thank you so much for your expertise! Have a great day!"

What WILL we learn?

  • Potential symptoms (tightness, tenderness) that can be reduced with myofascial massage after liposuction

  • Effects of lymphatic cupping that may benefit clients after liposuction (and tips on how to use cups)

  • How to position our client for post-liposuction myofascial massage ('lying on the beach' can really improve their results!)

  • Watch me in action in a video

  • Design a sample session for a post-op client based on your current knowledge and skills

What WON’T we learn?

  • How to push fluid out of incisions

  • How to give a deep tissue massage to someone right after surgery - pushing so hard that they need to pop a pain pill to get through it.

  • This is an intermediate-level class. You should have already taken classes in lymphatic drainage massage, cupping and myofascial massage to get the most out of this class.
